Educational qualification
Due to the variety of posts in SSC CHSL 2024, different educational criteria have been kept for application. To apply for Data Entry Operator (DEO) / DEO Grade ‘A’ Posts, candidate must be 12th pass in Science stream with Mathematics. And to apply for LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ Post, the candidate must have passed 12th.
Selection process
Candidates applying for this recruitment exam will have to give two tests. Its information is given below.
Tier 1: Objective-type – Multiple Choice Questions .
Time – 60 minutes (100 questions, 200 marks)
Tier 2: Objective-type -Online Exam + Skill/ Typing Test) Multiple Choice Questions except for Module-II of Section-III
Time –
Session-I lasts for 2 hours and 15 minutes. In Session-II, there’s a 15 Minute Skill Test for DEO in Part A, and a 10 minute Typing Test for LDC/JSA in Part B.
Pay scale
- The pay scale is different for different posts. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) receive Pay Level-2, which is Rs. 19,900 to 63,200 .
- Data Entry Operator (DEO) get Pay Level 4 Rs. 25,500-81,100 and Level 5 INR 29,200 – 92,300.
- Data Entry Operator (DEO), Grade A gets Pay Level 4 Rs. 25,500 – 81,100
